Lochdon is ideally placed for visiting Isle of Mull attractions, with both Tobermory and Iona only 45 minutes drive away. It is considered a hotspot for wildlife including red deer and otter and a haven for birdwatchers who will be thrilled with the variety of birds, including White tailed Sea Eagle and Hen Harrier, that the Lochdon area of Mull has to offer.

Mull offers varied walking ranging from gentle strolls to harder hill walking. Indeed nearby Dun Da Ghaoithe (Fort of the Two Winds) is the Isle of Mulls second highest mountain at 766 meters and offers a challenging and rewarding day outing.

This comfortable, well equipped purpose built self contained ground floor self catering apartment accommodation on the Isle of Mull sleeps 2 and is located within our architect designed home. In consideration of its surroundings the theme is to bring the woodland to the house and the house to the woodland. All rooms are bright, airy, comfortable and well appointed.

Our non smoking Mull self catering accommodation comprises of private entrance hall and spacious open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. There is a large double bedroom and a separate shower room.

All rooms are oil fired centrally heated for your comfort with additional heating to the lounge.

There is private car parking adjacent to the self catering accommodation.

We offer Full Week Isle of Mull Self Catering Breaks throughout the year and also have Short Stay Winter Breaks available from the beginning of November through to mid March. We have had a fantastic stay here at Twelve Oaks in Lochdon. Enjoyed excellent birdwatching and saw four otters at Loch Spelve and we both thoroughly enjoyed the Photography Workshop we did with Phil.
